Three transnational project meetings happened during the project.
The first transnational project meeting happened in Faro, Portugal, from 11th to 14th October 2016. 14 representatives from the 3 schools and the 3 CSOs project partners, prepared a comprehensive work plan for the next 2 years and used the opportunity to consolidate the relationship between partners.
A second transnational project meeting was held in Koper, Slovenia, on the 10th and 11th of October 2016. The main objectives of this meeting were (1) to prepare a project Mid-term evaluation and (2) to plan, prepare, share and adjust future activities and outcomes. The results were project evaluation grids per country and a set of guidelines regarding future project events and outputs and a new timeline for this final period of the project.
A third transnational project meeting happened between the 19 and the 23rd of April, in Faro. This meeting happened in 2 parts, one before and the second immediately after the project International Conference. In the 1st part of the meeting, partners worked to finalize the selection and description of their main project achievements and results, and rehearsed a presentation of the project with testimonies from around 12 students, teachers and CSO practitioners. Besides the availability of an updated project presentation, the session was an important team building moment. The 2nd part of the meeting resulted in a final evaluation table and the agreement from partners to continue the Network of Democratic Citizenship Schools beyond project circle. Partners discussed and agreed on a number of follow-up possibilities and distributed tasks to start working on project follow-up from September 2017.
